Throughout his life, Zhao Li Xin sacrificed many things for the sake of power and wealth so he could survive in his cruel world, subsequently, he eventually had everything within the palm of his hand, to the point not even the Emperor and sect leaders dared to touch him, he thought this would be able to fill the hole in his heart but what happened was that he sank deeper into darkness, leaving only a deep emptiness.

"Power is easy, what I want it's something more than that..." the man's eyes radiated bloodlust.

"Wa...what?" Bella's eyes widened.

The tension raised exponentially causing the air around them to become thin they felt the air squeeze from their lungs. They were still in shock when Zhao Li Xin abruptly lunged towards them like an arrow.

"At...Attack!" the man screamed in urgency as he raised his Ax.

The man next to him immediately infused his gift to his gauntlet and a second later the gauntlets were engulfed in blazing flames, while roaring with all his might he threw a heavy punch towards Zhao Li Xin.

Zhao Li Xin's dark eyes shone with murderous thrill as they greeted their attacks, the moment they landed an attack, Zhao Li Xin raised his sword to block the ax at the same time Zhao Li Xin used his palm to block the fire gauntlet's attack that came from the opposite direction.

Zhao Li Xin was surrounded in the middle nevertheless he wasn't the one at a disadvantage, instead, it was the other two men's who realized there was something very wrong but it was too late. The sound of metal clashing echoed on the walls of the labyrinth, meanwhile, the other man who launched the attack with the flame gauntlets was thrown back by the impact of Zhao Li Xin's palm.

The sounds of one cracked were clearly heard shocking everyone after that Zhao Li Xin shifted his aim to the man with gauntlets. The man refused to back down he screamed at Izzy and Bella "You just gonna watch?!" he complained.

Izzy snapped back from his shock immediately he shot at Zhao Li Xin. facing the bullets flew in his direction Zhao Li Xin kicked the ground causing the floor to lift, that successfully blocked the bullets, Bella had no other choice she reluctantly released poison smoke at him. this time Zhao Li Xin released the immortal blue flame around him that devoured the whole smoke.

The heat radiating from the fire filled the place they were in and the previously dark cave was now brightly lit by an eerie bluish light, "A gift? This isn't a gift, this is what I got, that's what I deserved" his smile turned cynical.

Bella's hopes are crushed. She knew it was impossible to persuade him, no, she has been wrong, SO WRONG! Because she was captivated by her enchanting beauty, she failed to notice the Demon within him.

"Use everything you've got, ATTACK!" Bella screams in urgency.

They attacked Zhao Li Xin at the same time using all their abilities because they would not make the mistake of underestimating this man.

The bracelet turned like a living whip that emitted poisonous smoke and began to attack Zhaolixin, concurently, Izzy fired non-stop shots at Zhaolixin, but the fire barrier around him melted Izzy's bullets, yet Zhao Li Xin does not stop there as he continue to swing his swords while shredded bella poisonous whip.

"You should be better than this!" Zhao Li Xin genuinely complain about them.

"Take this!" The axe was about land to on Zhao Li Xin's head but it only slashed his afterimage suddenly he appeared at the man's side grabbing his wrist.

"Dare to touch me, I'll fry you!" said the man exhilarated.

"You want to fry me?" Zhao Li Xin's amused it was at that moment the man felt his stomach churn, he didn't know what was about to happen but his instinct screamed at him to run!

The man released an electric current to electrocute Zhao Li Xin simultaneously Zhao Li Xin burned the man. Soon the electric light and blue flames mixed together then spread uncontrollably

Everyone quickly raised barriers to withstand the impact, but the pressure of the two forces was too great that the barriers they created began to waver.

"I cannot hold on anymore, we must stop them!" Bella struggle to hold her barrier.

The man with the gauntlet exerts all his fire gift into his gauntlets then strikes at Zhao Li xin, alas, but when he saw the excitement flash in Zhao Li Xin eyes they knew they make a bad moves.

"Just what I needed" Zhao Li Xin grinned viciously then threw the man's body towards his companion while flying towards them simultaneously.The man reflexively withdrew his challenge from his comrade, though a second later he realizes he had made a terrible mistake.

Even though it was only for a second it gave Zhao Li Xin an opening when the two men collided with each other, he hit the man back with his knee and then pushed them both together to the ground. They don't have time to retaliate when Zhao Li Xin twists the man's wrist and then absorbs the fire essence that lay in his Gift just like he did with Liam, only this time Zhao Li Xin doesn't hesitate. At the same time, Zhao Li Xin pressed his other hand against the other man's head as he proceeded to burn the helpless man.

Heart-wrenching screams filled the place making anyone who heard them shudder in fear. Izzy and Bella could do anything as the fire around them grew, it felt like the entire labyrinth was going to burn.

"STOP, we surrender - we surrender!" Bell screamed at the top of his lungs pleading frantically, but would Zhaoolixin care?

The blue flames danced wildly, devouring everything around it, including the walls of the cave, which slowly turned as dark as charcoal. At the same time, the temperature around them became hotter and hotter until it penetrated their bones.

Their mana started to drain quickly making it difficult to maintain the barrier around them. Soon their barrier began to fade until it disappeared completely, instantly they were blown away by a wave of heat that boiled their skin causing them to lose their strength to the point of almost losing consciousness if they didn't immediately consume the Mana Potion and Health Potion at once.

still the excruciating heat was unbarable to wishtand "Pl...Please...stop" Bella voice was weak and desperated. It didn't matter if Zhao Li Xin continued to absorb the man's mana until the last drop causing the man to die in a miserable state with his eyes wide open while the other man was no better either as he had been burned to death leaving only a terrifying black corpse as a silent prove of his terrible fate.

One his done the immortal Qi inside him swirl chaotically, spreading wildly throughout his body, burning all his veins. Zhao Li Xin let out an exhilirated scream knowing he would have a breakthrough, however people who heard his scream have theri blood drained from their face.

'Demon, he must be A Demon!'

The unlucky Bella and Izzy had their hearts sink in their stomach, fear paralyzed them as they heard Zhaolixin's scream, they didn't expect they would face a monster that was much more terrifying than Lory. if they knew it would be like this they wouldn't dare think even a second to approach this demon incarnated, no, they wouldn't dare be in the same city as this man!

Luckily there were no cultivators in this world because if they knew how easy it was to increase their cultivation by absorbing gifted people's mana that matched their cultivation root, they would incessantly hunt them which would lead to another terrible war that would endanger Lory and her family, luckily, he was the only one and he would make sure to keep it that way.

After finishing calming his Qi, he stepped towards Bella and Izzy, Amidst the blue flames he walked calmly, his gaze was cold and deadened he looked exactly like a Demon crawling from the dept hell to get them.

"Don't...don't come any closer!" Izzy's voice trembled.

Zhao grinned coldly, his steps calm and steady. He sent chills with every step he took. Their mouths went dry, however, they didn't know if it was because of the intense heat or if it was...him, perhaps it was both, against their instinct they refused to give up, not yet!

Zhao Li Xin didn't realize that he had stepped into the circle of Bella's poisonous whip, all of a sudden the whip raised then tied him tightly, Zhao Li Xin movement was halted. Not stop there the tip of the poisoned whip thrust Zhao Li Xin's shoulde inhject him with deadly poison, it didn't take long before the skin around the wound turned blue indicated the poison has spread.

"Shoot him now!" Bella command Izzy.

Izzy didn't waste any time he immediately shot Zhao Li Xin repeatedly.

Just a few centimeters before the bullet touched him the bullet suddenly bounce by transparant wall.

"Wh...what is that?" Izzy voice shrill with terror.

"It's call, Qi barrier" Zhao Li Xin answer kindly.

The blue flames swirled around and then engulfed him like a tornado after the fire subsided, the whip had burned to ashes and the traces of poison on his shoulder miraculously disappeared leaving only traces of torn clothes and open wounds.

Zhao Li Xin looks at him with melancholy gaze "There was a time people called me that way...though I have a plan to burry that name, however, for you I will give an exception..."

Zhao raised his hand soon after the blue flames merged into a giant fire sphere then he threw the fireball toward Izzy and Bella. Luckily Izzy still had the protective charm, while rushing to Bella he quickly activated the spell charmed then protected Bella safely in his arms.

Even though they managed to avoid the attack, the talisman was not strong enough to withstand Zhao Li Xin's attack, as a result, the talisman was destroyed and they were thrown at the same time nevertheless they were still lucky because of the charm their wounds were not fatal.

They falled with a harsh thud while Zhao Li xin take the time to drank a health potion soon after the wound on his houlder stopped bleeding and the wound slowly closed leaving a quite an obvious ugly scar on his shoulder.

Zhao Li Xin checked the scar then wondered if the poison was too strong so the wound didn't heal properly, why the scar become so ugly, what would Lory say?

could it be it because the potion was not good, or it because his unique countenance from other people in this world thus the potion not suitable for him? Zhao Li Xin shakes his head, since it didn't bother him, therefore, this should do for now.

"You ruined my new clothes that my wife bought for me, how do you compesated it?" Zhao Li Xin stare at Bella and Izzy.
