Chapter 227: Enlightenment Stones, Unexpected Big Boost
Chapter 227: Enlightenment Stones, Unexpected Big Boost
Service 1: Dream Mist Cloud.
Aleron and Shelby arrived in a small pocket space connected to Chaosverse. This pocket space had a small open pavilion that floated amidst the cloud.
According to instructions, Aleron lit up the incense stick on the small table in the open pavilion.
It started releasing misty smoke with a heavenly fragrance. The moment they inhaled it, their mind and soul felt as if they were swimming in a sea of comfort.
But that was not all.
The two walked on the cloud, the misty smoke making their mind and soul all-time high.
Their hands intertwined, their bodies aroused.
Nothing adorned their figures a second later.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Their hands intertwined, and their lips plastered against each other.
On the fluffy cloud in an embrace, they fell while kissing. Rolling and laughing, their passion commencing.
...
The effect of incense and this place, with their willingness, caused them to have an intense, passionate time for an hour before the effect wore off, and they got a voice message from the pavilion's center telling them to exit via the portal as their first service was over.
After leaving, they returned to the room full of doors where their guide was waiting while sitting on a couch a few meters away from their door.
"The second service is Heavenly Spring Hill. You can stay there for two hours in the best water that's both refreshing and intoxicating. Continue your enjoyment there," the bunny-eared beastfolk girl said with a smile. "Follow me, please."
The consecutive services were at different places with different effects on their mind and soul while also keeping them energized with whatever resources they were burning through in each service station's specialty.
Aleron enjoyed this time like never before and also had a lot of passionate battles with Shelby as ten hours passed just to reach the last service.
But the last service was high-quality dining, just four dishes, but all four being enough to replenish their lost energy and vigor. After eating, they were given a bed to sleep to digest the food. Only two hours of sleep, but it was enough to make them feel as if they were reborn after waking up.
"This place is definitely worth 1000 Chaos stones per head," Aleron said with a chuckle as he and Shelby exited and started walking on the street.
"Indeed. Shelby is very blissful, thanks to you," Shelby said with a content and joyful smile as she rubbed her tummy. "What are we doing next, Master?"
"I have three days to get as strong as I can, so it's time to use the rewards that Rexian gave me in the Black Myth Ruins event," Aleron grinned and said, "the Enlightenment Stones. I have three of them, and I'm planning to use one to awaken my next Concept. If I have time after that, I'll use one more to try comprehending a higher level of Magilore for better Magic Prints."
"That's indeed a good idea," Shelby nodded before she curiously asked, "What Concept have you decided to manifest?"
"I want the word [Sever]," Aleron's eyes glinted. "Sever in the broadest sense, able to sever anything and everything. This will also allow me to create a particular combat style revolving around severing that I have in mind."
"That sounds good, Master. It also won't conflict with your Astral Reaver concept as you'll be able to use Sever in all skills that's applying Astral Reaver concept's effects."
"Yep."
Concepts could also clash. In simple words, if someone awakened a concept called 'Circle' and the method of applying this concept required one to have their skills in a circular shape or anything circle-related. But if this person also awakened the 'Square' Concept next, then both would clash.
If a skill needed to be shaped in a square style, then it won't be able to accept the effects of the Circle concept, simple as that.
Astral Reaver was a concept controlling the flow of Space and Time. Sever was about cutting. Both could be included in the skills, and one could manifest unique effects in the new Mystic skills-based user's ideas and ability.
Aleron had decided, so he and Shelby went to the previous Mountain where he and the gang learned Chaos Breathing Art.
On the other hand, the other gang split into two groups.
Group Harem and Group Knights.
Group Harem consisted of Enorin, Rias, Yueha, Mei, Ruan, and Liang. They were eventually going to meet Aleron 'by chance' while he went out to adventure and become his woman in the eyes of Prosper Path Alliance.
As such, they returned to Midworld and simply focused on things they could do there, which was getting stronger by training to awaken new Concepts and learning higher levels of
Magilore.
Meanwhile, Darzax, Riki, Hua, Fang, Lee, Ying, Jiang, Arran'tel, Nerathi, and Roxen formed a party and assigned a territory to their party name that Aleron told them.
It was the territory of the party Aleron killed in the Chaotic Wilderness.
When Aleron entered the City Mountain Park to use Enlightenment Stone with Shelby, a few from Group Knights arrived at Arena Tower's first-floor hall.
"So this is the place Boss recommended first? Looks good," Riki said with a grin.
"It seems people are talking about Master," Jiang said as he looked at the leaderboard and saw Aleron's name at the top.
"Let us three enter first. The others will start coming soon," Darzax said as he walked towards the Reception Desk. "We are to explore the Chaotic Wilderness after we are done here."
"Let's see how we fare compared to Boss."
"Indeed."
Riki and Jiang followed Darzax before applying for the Floor challenge.
Aleron had told them about the Arena Tower and wanted them to climb the floors to earn the
easy money first.
He didn't instruct them rigidly because all of them were intelligent and could handle
themselves.
Aleron's command was only one-Survive and get strong, and if any information popped up, they would share it with each other to keep the group up to date.
--
Time passed as minutes into hours, and hours into days...
Aleron took two days to awaken his second Concept, 'Sever,' but he succeeded. The training he did for this previously helped him awaken it fast, even though he got a boost of insight from
Enlightenment Stone.
The Enlightenment Stone didn't directly help just anyone gain enlightenment. It was especially useless if someone used it to get enlightenment on something completely new.
The enlightenment came from one's training, experience, and broad understanding of anything they were passionate about and ardently desired. Just wishing for something wasn't enough. One had to work hard for it.
The better the above-mentioned points, the higher the chances of one to achieve
enlightenment using the stone.
With one more day remaining, Aleron decided to use one more Enlightenment Stone and
entered into a trans-like state again, with Shelby guarding him.
This time, he wanted to focus on diving deep into Magilore energy.
The first level of Magilore was like sentences that made sense that one had to learn, floating
around in a vast plane of arcane.
The second level of Magilore was like individual words with their particular meanings. Understanding them allowed them to create Magic Prints. It was a new world.
Then what about the third level of Magilore?
Aleron didn't know, but the answer was in the Magilore energy itself. As he deep-dived and tried to understand, the knowledge of the first and second levels of Magilore he attained started making less and less sense.
The third level was a breaking point. By achieving it, one would also awaken their Magic Zone, one of the three trinity assets, along with Blood Zone and Concept Zone. Aleron couldn't understand anything in this new realm. He could decipher no words as he didn't see any. All he could see were strange lines and symbols that absolutely didn't mean
anything.
And that was when he realized.
The third level wasn't about learning.
It was about teaching.
It was not about learning the sentences or words but about creating letters and giving them
meaning.
But he didn't realize that his affirmative thought process in this regard propelled him higher
than what he expected.
Usually, people would learn the meanings of those undecipherable symbols in the 3rd level of Magilore first and then move forward.
But Aleron's talent in magic was so astounding that he learned the fundamental truth of Magilore and attained an Enlightenment that surpassed his expectations.
Level four Magilore, creating new words using the new letters that enabled desired magic
effects.
Level five Magilore, creating new sentences using new words, enabling stronger magic
effects.
Level six Magilore, creating magic circles encompassing multiple sentences. Level seven Magilore, transforming magic circles into simple truth of arcane - Magic Tongue, enabling the next level of magic usage.
Level eight and the last level nine were also related to Magic Tongue.
Magic Tongue was an entirely new realm of power. It was the power of words, not necessarily
spoken from one's mouth, but thought in mind as well.
Magilore energy couldn't be used in Chaosverse. If it was released outside or if pure Magilore
skill activated, it would be disrupted and wouldn't display its effects properly.
But Magic Tongue was unique.
It wasn't about using Magilore to fuel a skill and then releasing it outside. No.
It was about...directly bringing out the magic effects onto the world by consuming Magilore. Think -> consume Magilore -> And manifest the effect onto the world.
During a battle, one could use Magic Tongue to instantly add or modify one's released Mystic
skill simply by thinking.
Magic Prints would also become tremendously powerful thanks to Magic Tongue. Aleron was practically swimming in a new world of magic, gaining enlightenment like never before as he enjoyed a new high that was different from the pleasure he felt a while ago in the
Wonder Dream Resort.
But alas, level 7 was the limit as it was time to go. Shelby woke him up and he returned to reality, feeling a certain sense of loss for a bit as he sighed and wryly smiled.
He had to break the Enlightenment even though he felt he could go higher, but that was fine.
"M-Master...." Shelby suddenly started feeling a profound arcane aura emerging from Aleron and asked in surprise. "What level is your Magilore mastery?"
"I managed to reach level 7," Aleron grinned. "Oh yeah, what's your level?"
Shelby weakly smiled, "I am at level 6. Level 7 is a big breakthrough to attain Magic Tongue,
but it's hard."
Aleron wrapped his arms around Shelby and lightly laughed, "No worries, I'll teach you profoundly later."
He took out the crystal and looked at it, his eyes slightly shifting as it blazed.
For now, it was time to return to the Prosper Path Alliance, win the competition, and become renowned enough to get the attention of the big shots so that he may find out the big scheme as soon as possible.
