For the following few days, Jaden and John did not go anywhere. As for the matter about the mutants, it obviously blew up. Despite Oliver trying as much as possible to cover the issue, it was completely impossible for him to do that.

Even though it was clear that not everybody within the city that held a high position knew about the mutants, the same could not be said about the city leader.

The city leader obviously possessed the information about the mutants. Considering that he was a leader of a first tier city, it was impossible for him not to have connections within the central province.

And considering that within the central province, was where the mutants were mainly located, he clearly got the information. Within the central province, the information about the mutants had also been hidden, but it was not possible to be able to hide it completely.

They could hide the fact that mutants existed, but they could not hide the mutants themselves. And the moment that the mutants took action, people would find that things were happening that were completely unnatural.

And, it was not as if the mutants would only fight in the dark. But instead, sometimes, they would even fight in a public area, though not in an area that was completely populated by people.

Leaving all of that aside, the moment that the city leader got the information about what had happened, he immediately understood that mutants had somehow appeared within his city.

The technology upgrade card could be used on an item that had already been upgraded. It was not as if the card could only increase the level of the item by 100 years from the present, but instead, it was a maximum of 100 years from the level of the technology at the time of the usage of the card.

But implied that if he used the technology upgrade card on the appearance shifting watch, it would also be improved in the range of 50 to 100 years. And if he used it again, the improved version of the appearance shifting watch would also be improved by another 50 to 100 years.
