Lin Shen glanced around, noticing that over a dozen competitors from different races had appeared nearby, and surprisingly, not a single one was of the same race.

In the entire universe, who knew how many races of Ascenders were competing in battle. If not a hundred billion, there had to be at least several billion. Encountering members of one's own race in one place was evidently not an easy task.

While Lin Shen was sizing them up, they were also scrutinizing each other and cautiously keeping a certain distance to avoid being ambushed.

"You, hand over your points," a giant towering over four meters tall with an elephant head landed in front of Lin Shen, pointing a Battle Axe at him as he spoke.

Lin Shen turned his neck to look around, and then looked at the Elephant Man with a puzzled expression, asking, "With so many people around, why do you want to rob my points?"

The Elephant Man paused, his voice buzzing as he asked, "What's the difference? Can't I choose you?"

"You're so big, and I'm so small. Are you targeting me because you think I'm weak and easy to bully?" Lin Shen asked again.

The Elephant Man shook his head repeatedly, "Of course not, it's just because you were the closest to me. That's why you're the first one I approached. Elephant warriors do not fear any strong opponents and dare to face any challenge."

Seeing how simple and honest the Elephant Man was, Lin Shen spoke earnestly, "A true warrior dares to challenge stronger beings. Do I look stronger than you?"

"Not at all." The Elephant Man took another look at Lin Shen and said apologetically, "Sorry, I chose the wrong person."

With that, the Elephant Man actually turned around and left, flying towards another tall Ascender in a different direction.

"He really left!" Lin Shen was somewhat surprised; he hadn't expected the Elephant Man to be so straightforward and actually just walk away.

The other tall Ascender who had been waiting to watch the show never imagined that the Elephant Man would simply let the Human go and instead come towards him, which instantly made him feel somewhat dismayed.

But he was not as shameless as Lin Shen and had no choice but to summon his Life Base to respond to the challenge.

The two Ascenders instantly clashed into a brawl, sand flying, and the sound of Life Base collisions filled the air incessantly.

Both Ascenders were of the Strength type, and their battle had no frills—just pure striking power. One wielded a Battle Axe and the other a Wolf Fang Club, neither backing down in the relentless exchange.

"What a cunning Human, you may have deceived that foolish Elephant Man, but you won't fool me. Hand over your points, and I'll spare your life," a Wolf-Eared Ascender, surrounded by a Crooked Knife Life Base, approached Lin Shen.

"You're indeed much smarter than he is, but have you thought about it—if I refuse to give you the points and you battle me now. Even if I'm not as strong as you, you'll at least have to expend some energy to kill me. What if you get injured in the process? Do you think those guys over there won't take advantage of that?" Lin Shen gestured with his mouth towards the other Ascenders in the distance.

Upon hearing this, the Wolf-Eared Ascender's face shifted slightly, and looking over, he saw several Ascenders indeed paying close attention to their side.

"Hmph, don't think that your smooth talk can deceive me," the Wolf-Eared Ascender said darkly, staring at Lin Shen, yet not immediately making a move.

"With your smarts, I couldn't possibly deceive you. What I mean is, why don't the two of us join forces and rob others of their points first? In a two-on-one situation, our consumption won't be much, and others won't dare to attack us while we're vulnerable. What do you think?" Lin Shen said unhurriedly.

"Makes some sense," the Wolf-Eared Ascender said, his eyes shifting as he stared at a nearby Ultra-Burn Tribe Ascender. "Then let's go rob his points first. Show me your sincerity, you go first."

The Wolf-Eared Ascender wasn't foolish either. He merely wanted to use Lin Shen as cannon fodder, planning to swoop in and take their points when both parties were injured.

"Okay." Lin Shen readily agreed, flying towards the Ultra-Burn Tribe's Ascender.

The Wolf-Eared Ascender just watched from a distance, with no intention of entering the battlefield.

Seeing Lin Shen approach, the Ultra-Burn Tribe Ascender gripped the Life Base axe in his hand, prepared to fight desperately, as he would absolutely not give up his points.

"Brother, from now on, follow me," Lin Shen said to the Ultra-Burn Tribe member, with no intention of starting a fight, merely speaking to the Ascender.

"Why should I?" the Ultra-Burn Tribe member asked, frowning.

"Can you really beat the two of us?" Lin Shen pointed toward the distant Wolf-Eared Ascender.

"I'll have to try to find out," the Ultra-Burn Tribe Ascender snorted coldly.

"Even if you can beat us, fighting two at a time, won't you still pay a price? Do you have the energy left to deal with other Ascenders?" Lin Shen said with a smile. "But if you follow me, the three of us can just rob anyone's points, and won't that be like taking candy from a baby? I'll give you a share of the points we snatch. It might not be much, but it's still better than being robbed by someone else, right?"

"You have a point," the Ultra-Burn Tribe Ascender considered the other Ascenders around and felt that fighting Lin Shen now would indeed do him no good. It seemed better to pretend to agree with this Human for now and deal with the other Ascenders first. Then he would find an opportunity to deal with Lin Shen and that Wolf-Eared Ascender later.

When the Wolf-Eared Ascender saw that Lin Shen did not fight upon approaching the Ultra-Burn Tribe Ascender but instead spoke with him for a bit, and then the Ultra-Burn Tribe Ascender started following him, he felt a shock in his heart. He feared that Lin Shen and the Ultra-Burn Tribe Ascender intended to join forces against him.

"Lang, this is Ao. From now on, he'll be following me, and together we'll target other Ascenders," Lin Shen said, pointing at another Ascender nearby.

Lang was briefly taken aback, wanting to say something, but seeing the Ultra-Burn Tribe Ascender at Lin Shen's side, he realized that if he disagreed, the two might gang up on him, so he could only say gravely, "Okay."

In the blink of an eye, Lin Shen had formed a trio and was surrounding another Ascender.

Seeing them approach, the Ascender turned and attempted to flee, but Lang and Ao cut him off.

"Hold off on attacking," Lin Shen stopped Lang and Ao, who were about to make a move, shaking a folding fan in hand as he walked up to the Ascender and said with a smile, "Brother, joining us only costs a bit of points. Would you like to join us to collect points, or would you prefer to take on the three of us by yourself?"

"Big brother, I want to join your group," the Ascender wisely transferred his meager points to Lin Shen.

"Very good. From now on, you're one of us. I'll hold onto the points for now. When we've gathered enough to go around, everyone will get their share, and it'll definitely be more than what you could get on your own. Now, let's start over there," Lin Shen closed his folding fan and pointed spiritedly towards another Ascender who was trying to escape.
