Lord MMORPG: The Demon Progenietor

The under-base was an extremely wide area underground with multiple departments. Xander has yet to meet another Arcana wielder except for this Yukimura and his dad.

After walking around the workers there now knew that theirs leader's son has joined the group.

"Most of the other fighters are looking for the ghoulshippers base in different parts of the world."

"Wait! Terrox is that big?" Xander was stunned as he imagined flying around the world.

"Haha. We aren't actually, we send squadrons to different part of the world rather than build a base in every country," Yukimura clarified.

After showing Xander around Yukimura finally stopped walking and looked at the boy.

"This is the end of the tour. Next is the Arcana test."

"What's the arcana test?" Xander asked in a tired tone.

"It measures your strength and the true nature of your arcana," Yukimura said as he smirked and Xander nodded.

He has always wanted to know what his arcana really was. He was given given class called Demon progenietor but he doesn't even know what that means. Although in the game dimension the system said it was a combination of a 'Demonmancer' and 'Necromancer'. His dad told him that arcanas are powers of gods that once roamed the earth.

The question now will be; which God did he get his arcana from?

As they walked towards another cyber door Yukimura waved his hand and with a beeping sound, it closed.

Entering inside Xander was introduced to a different place entirely. Unlike the black caves outside the walls were smooth and were white in colour and had a subtle glow.

As Xander was busy admiring the place the ground behind him swiled open and a white crystal floated out.

"Hm?" He turned around to see the fifty centimeters tall blue crystal which was ten cenrimeters in diameter.

"Just place your hand on the crystal."

Xander turned around to see Yukimura behind him which was kind of spooky. The guy has some kind of ghost ability. Nonetheless Xander nodded and placed his hand on the crystal.

A blue screen then appeared above the crystal and Xander looked at it.

[Running analysis...]

[Checking insignia...]

[Arcana analysis complete]

After the messages a new different screen appeared and the old one vanished, displaying new information.

Xander was pleasantly surprised. He looked at the blue crystal again and he suspected that this crystal was not normal.

He tapped on [here] and his abilities and weapons were shown.

[Abilities: Primordial flames, Primordial bind, Percieve, Demonify, Revive

Weapons: Mind scythe

Special abilities: Asura's Wrath, energy slash]

"I... didn't expect this."

"Woah!" Xander almost fell out of shock as he suddenly heard Yukimira's voice beside him.

'He was just at the other end of the room.' Xander thought as he stated at Yukimura who almost gave him a heart attack.

"It's quite rare for two people in one family to have an arcana, but this is even more absurd. Two people in a family having a weapon and a special ability. And they both have Demon class arcanas." Yukimura clicked his tongue in jealousy.

For them, members of the Terrox who wields an arcana, the chance that a member of their family would have an arcana also was extremely low.

This was even more crazy; both Xander's dad, Ciel and Xander had a demon class arcana which has room for growth and both of them had soul weapons.

Arcanas give humans super abilities that would be non-accesible normally unless when carrying a mark of divinity. They are generally powers of ancient gods and can come in one skill or the god's arsenal.

Xander looked at his special skills and saw Asura's Wrath and energy slash, two of which he went familiar with at all.

'These special skills. I didn't get them inside the game, looks like I need a higher level for them or something.' He thought, but then he sighed. 'The only level I haven't attained is level 100. Whatever, I'll leave it for now.'

"Can you tell me more about the arcanas and how they work?" Xander asked as Yukimura was still looking at the analysis screen with wide ayes in amazement.

"Oh. Well I don't know much about them except that they are powers from various gods. But I'll tell you everything I know," Yukimura said and sat on the floor while crossing his legs and Xander followed.

"This is just the legend. It is said that the gods roamed the earth before it was destroyed and remade. According to hidden scripture, a great calamity befell earth and all the gods dissapeared and the dinosaurs were extinct.

"It has been a long time since the first arcana was discovered. You can communicate with the God which the power originates from to know more about it." Yukimura concluded.

'The arcanas have such a deep history. I'm supposed to be sleeping by now but I can't when I know that my mom is missing.' Xander thought.

He then looked up at the Japanese fighter and then asked, "How do I communicate with the owner of the power?"

"Oh, someone is getting feisty. All you need to do is to enter a state of meditation and then focus on that energy that allows you to use different abilities."

Xander was confused as he heard the words of the veteran arcana wielder.

'Is he talking about Mana?' Xander thought as he used Mana inside the game dimension to cast spells and use his skills.

He closed his eyes and focused on that energy in his stomach. All of a sudden Xander felt himself being pulled and he opened his eyes to see himself in a black space.

Stars lined the skies, twinkling in a bright red colur. In front of him was a large red ball like the sun which shone with brilliance.

'My Mana source.' Xander thought.

"No. Not Mana. Primordial energy."

"AHH!!!" Xander almost fell out of shock as a voice came out of nowhere. He didn't fall as he was floating in a simulated space... or so he thinks.

'Why do people keep spooking me?!!'

He turned to see a handsome young man with long white hair. His red pupils were glowing in the black space, broadcasting their existence.

"You're Asura?" Xander said as he scanned the man in front of him who had pitch black armour on him.
