C44 – The Battle Between the Black Gorilla and the Bizarre Bird

Heavy breaths echoed against the green stone. Suddenly, a massive rock crashed down onto Lee Tian, jolting him from his blissful dream.

​The impact of the rock snapped Lee Tian awake. His eyes flew open to the sight of a black gorilla, its eyes a fierce scarlet, hoisting another boulder above its head, poised to bring it crashing down on him!

Panicked, Lee Tian tried to rise and evade the impending blow, only to realize that his legs had been shattered by the previous rock, and his backside was now indented with a crater!

With no use of his legs, his only option was to roll off the green stone.

As he did, the gorilla slammed the rock down with such force that it splintered the stone’s surface.

Lee Tian’s heart raced with shock. Had that hit landed on him, his tough exterior would have been pulverized.

The gorilla was a formidable sight, its physique resembling a towering, ancient tree.

Seeing its lunch escape, the gorilla snarled, its teeth bared in fury, while its blood-red eyes seemed ready to burst. It pounded its chest with clenched fists, emitting a thunderous roar.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

​In a fit of rage, the gorilla lifted the entire green stone, deeply rooted in the earth, above its head, aiming another blow at Lee Tian.

​Fear gripped Lee Tian. The gorilla’s volatility was palpable, and the mountain’s dangers became all too clear.

Determined not to be reduced to a pulp, Lee Tian activated his Fiery Eyes. Instantly, twin jets of flame burst forth, targeting the gorilla’s face.

Though his Fiery Eyes were not yet fully developed, lacking the power to launch fireballs, the small flames sufficed for defense.

​The gorilla let out another furious roar and flung the green stone aside. It frantically rubbed its eyes, which were clearly in agony.

Lee Tian’s precise aim had struck the gorilla’s most sensitive spot, leaving it scorched, in pain, and seething with anger.

Lee Tian was ready to seize the moment to make his escape.

But as he turned to flee, he was stunned to see a Bizarre Bird, as large as an airplane, plummeting from the sky. Its talons snatched at the black gorilla, which was still rubbing its eyes.

The Bizarre Bird’s massive claws were thick and powerful, and it effortlessly grasped the gorilla. With a vigorous flap of its wings, it attempted to carry off the hefty primate!

The gorilla’s shoulder was impaled by the hook of the Bizarre Bird’s talon, causing it to howl in agony. It swung its arms and latched onto the bird’s claws. Pulling down with tremendous force, the gorilla managed to drag the Bizarre Bird to the ground!

Enraged and frenzied, the black gorilla pounced on the downed Bizarre Bird, flailing its arms in a violent frenzy, pounding and ripping at the bird.

The scene was utterly savage and gory.

The colossal Bizarre Bird fought back, its claws flailing, its beak—solid as steel—furiously pecking at the gorilla, stripping away its hair and skin.

Then, a bizarre noise erupted, followed by a sudden shower of blood from above.

Lee Tian looked on in shock to see that the gorilla was clutching a massive wing in its grasp—a wing it had ripped right off the Bizarre Bird!

​Blood gushed from where the wing had been torn away.

In agony, the Bizarre Bird screeched, struggling to escape the gorilla’s grip, but the furious ape kept it pinned down, delivering a brutal beating.

​Before long, a second blood shower ensued as the gorilla tore off the Bizarre Bird’s other wing.
