As he focused, he noticed that the shallow river was the concentration of faith energy, as invisible threads tore through the immaterial void and connected to the millions of players and sentient creatures.

Hiro had the feeling of absolute control; he could draw the consciousness of every creature connected to the river through a thread of faith energy—but this was merely the tip of the iceberg!

For a moment, Hiro forgot about the feeling of being an all-mighty deity and instead, he acted like a child trying out a new toy!
