Chapter 511-Irethane, Demon Lord of Wrath

Chapter 511-Irethane, Demon Lord of Wrath

Chapter 511

The Celestial Plane is vast, comprising numerous Worlds and Domains.

Dave couldn't send his troops instantly to the Metal Empire because he had never been there before.

Within the Celestial Plane, there are 10 top planes, including Hell and Heaven, which are tied for Rank 1 in terms of the size and power of their inhabitants.

Humans dominate the Desolate Plane, ranked 740 out of 1067 planes, making it an average plane.

The Desolate Plane is unique because no other races have attempted to invade it, as it is protected by the Light Goddess, who favors humans.

Humans are grateful for her protection, which is why other races only use humans to scheme and attack, fearing to offend one of the Ten Commandments.

The Desolate Plane is vast, consisting of thousands of domains and numerous human clans.

Despite the fall of the Blazing Sun Empire, the strongest force on the Desolate Plane, there are still 10 empires remaining.

However, other forces have tried to seize this opportunity to replace the fallen empire, only to be swallowed by demons. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

The demons have established their base in the original domain of the Blazing Sun Empire.

Typically, all empires are open to anyone, and they do not seal their domains.

However, due to the betrayal of the Metal Emperor, all empires have sealed their domains in defense against attacks from the Metal Empire.

They do not fear the Metal Emperor himself, but rather his backing: a mysterious Demon who infiltrated the Desolate Plane through unknown means with his subordinates.

They created a small tear allowing them to enter the Desolate Plane, establishing a Demon City and terrorizing other human clans who lack the means to protect themselves against demons.

Some clans have been absorbed by the Metal Empire, while others have become slaves for the demons to use and abuse.

.............

In the Demon City, a hub teeming with demon troops from the lineage of wrath, a humanoid figure sat upon the throne, observing with amusement as humans in front of him slaughtered each other for survival.

The humans, a family of slaves numbering five, were instructed that only those who survived would be spared.

Without hesitation, they ruthlessly turned on one another, even though they shared the same blood.

"Tsk, humans are truly worse than us," the figure remarked with a sinister chuckle.

"Hey, why are you slow? Kill him! Right, drink his blood! No, behead him!"

His commands echoed, heard by the demon soldiers who guarded him, all of whom were familiar with their lord's cruel nature.

"You are useless, die!"

With fiery eyes, the figure unleashed a wave of energy, incinerating the fighting humans in an instant.

"Boring!" he scoffed.

"Hahaha, who chose those pigs? Answer me!"

The imposing figure, standing at 5'10" with a well-proportioned body, had short black hair with streaks of red.

His eyes burned like flames, causing the castle to tremble with his energy.

Suddenly, a thin, nervous demon appeared before him, sweating profusely as he knelt and kowtowed.

"Forgive me, my lord," the demon pleaded fearfully.

"We are short on human slaves now. Some were killed and devoured by the soldiers, while others sought protection from the human empires. Some committed suicide and others work as our slaves."

The thin demon dared not meet the gaze of the figure before him, for he was one of the ten demon lords of wrath, ranked 9 under Demon King Satan.

He was Irethane, the Ire Sovereign, a demon hybrid who had accepted demon blood and served the demon king due to his power.

Irethane could enter this plane due to his dominant human blood, which allowed him to conceal his demon lineage easily.

His demon soldiers were also hybrids, as he only accepted hybrids, disdaining pure demons who liked to bully hybrid demons.

"Damn it, you're all boring! Get out before I kill every single one of you!" he roared in anger, causing the thin demon to vanish instantly, feeling as if he had narrowly escaped death.

"Tch, if I weren't short on troops, I would have killed you already," he muttered under his breath.

Currently, he had only brought his demon soldiers with human bloodlines to enter this plane.

If he brought his other army, they would be detected by the Goddess of Light.

Despite being told by his king that the Goddess of Light was dormant, he remained cautious and dared not test the power of the Gods.

Suddenly, a demon soldier rushed to his side and knelt before him.

"My lord, we have intel that the Lightning Empire has brought down their barrier."

Irethane laughed, eagerly awaiting this moment. He couldn't unleash his full powers, as it required him to use his demon arts and bloodline, limiting his abilities in this plane to those of humans.

If he used his demonic powers, he could easily destroy the barriers of other human empire domains.

"Hehe, tell that worthless Metal to act. If he fails, let him know that I'll personally kill him," he ordered the demon, who nodded before leaving to deliver the news to the Metal Empire.

"Hmm, why do I feel uneasy?"

Irethane pondered, suddenly overcome with a sense of foreboding. He hadn't felt this way since becoming a demon lord 100,000 years ago when he killed the previous demon lord and took his place.

"Perhaps I'm just overthinking things," he dismissed the feeling, refusing to believe that a hero was protecting this plane.

He needed to focus on accomplishing the mission the Demon King had given him.

A hero of the Gods' power could fight three demon lords head-on, and he was also a candidate for becoming a hero of the Gods himself.

However, he was defeated in the first round of the trial.

It wasn't because he was weak; he was even labeled as one of the best geniuses in the human race.

He reached the rank of Divine Monarch at the young age of 140 years old.

However, he faced a more monstrous genius who was unparalleled in the human race.

This opponent was only 20 years old but had reached the same level as him. Moreover, his background was not as prestigious, as he was only a commoner.

Defeated and depressed, the hero lost his drive to become stronger when he learned that he became a hero solely because he was the champion of the tournament.

Unbeknownst to him, Satan was watching from the shadows and recognized his desire for power.

Satan offered him a place in his training program, promising to bestow upon him the title of demon lord if he managed to kill one of Satan's demon lords.

Hesitant at first, but driven by his greed for more power, the hero ultimately accepted the devil's deal.
