Chapter 508-Breakthrough
Chapter 508-Breakthrough
Chapter 508
Aby smiled, kissed his cheek, and vanished like a bubble.
"Hehe, if you're truly thankful, then just become strong and protect this weak lady here," she teased before disappearing.
Dave's smile widened as he watched her vanish.
Though he didn't fully understand Aby's origins or how she became the system, to him, she was family and one of the most important figures in his life.
"I promise to protect you all, even if it means becoming the enemy of the universe,"
Dave declared, determination shining in his eyes.
With renewed resolve, Dave steeled his heart and said, "Well, then, let's start again."
.....
An unknown amount of time had passed until Dave opened his eyes, which remained calm even in such a mysterious state.
One hundred soul flowers floated in front of him, and he was shocked when he surpassed 51 soul flowers because he knew that 50 was the maximum one could form.
However, upon entering the mysterious state, he found himself surrounded by treasures.
Half of these treasures helped him form 35 soul flowers, and after absorbing them all, he managed to form 100 soul flowers, surpassing his previous understanding of transcendental beings.
He had anticipated another breakthrough into Celestial Immortal, but he could not sense it.
Deciding to form more soul flowers until he exhausted all the treasures, Dave pondered, "What is the limit of my soul?"
He had always known that his soul was special, but he hadn't expected to require more soul flowers to reach its limit before breaking through. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Finding it hard to believe that he needed more treasures to form more soul flowers, he was uncertain of the limit he needed to reach.
"Sigh! Being invincible requires a lot of effort, huh?"
Despite his astonishment, Dave felt delighted, as it showed that the path he was taking was different from others, and he believed that only he had accomplished such a feat.
Suddenly, the domain was destroyed, and his main body opened his eyes.
He saw Xegron looking at him with a surprised expression, realizing that everything had happened in the blink of an eye, yet it felt like he had been forming soul flowers for many eras.
"Congratulations, master!" Xegron bowed to Dave. Even though everything had occurred in an instant, Xegron had already concluded that Dave had successfully broken through because he felt his strength had increased.
He remained in the Transcendental Being state, with his soul flower count at 75.
Right now, Gabriella and the others must have already reached Transcendental Being, but Dave doesn't know how many soul flowers they had attained—whether they reached the maximum of 50 or surpassed it like him.
"Oh, you already have 75 soul flowers? Not bad; you seem to not be surprised," Xegron bowed and said.
"Yes, master. The previous Xerg King had formed 150 soul flowers, while the current queen has formed 140 soul flowers before they broke through to Celestial Immortal," Xegron continued.
Dave was surprised; he hadn't expected that there were beings who had surpassed 50 soul flowers. He didn't know how many soul flowers he needed to break through.
"Well, let's talk about it later because we will now start a bloody war," Dave said, his confidence rising again with his current power.
He believed that he was already invincible in the Transcendental Being and could even fight Celestial Immortals.
Xegron smiled before nodding. "Your wish is my command."
Dave then went back to the space world to look for Aby.
.....
"So, you have finished?"
Dave entered the Hall of Chaos and sat in the chair specially designed for him. On the table, Aby sat in human form, looking beautiful and seductive.
Dave almost lost control upon seeing her, but he refrained himself. Right now, he wanted to ask Aby about herself because he had become more curious about her and hoped to find more answers. "Yes, thanks to you, I managed to create more soul flowers, but it's not enough for me to break through," Dave replied calmly.
Aby wasn't surprised by his words, and Dave suddenly felt that Aby knew he wouldn't break through after surpassing 50 soul flowers.
"Are you curious why I knew you wouldn't break through after creating 50 soul flowers?" Aby smiled mysteriously, and Dave nodded.
"Well, I knew that you had some guesses. Your soul is different, and your chaotic body needs more soul flowers to reach its limit,"
Aby explained. "Haven't you realized as well, your breakthrough to Transcendental Being without using sin points, and you already acquired everything in the main shop?"
Dave was stunned; he had failed to notice it. But now he realized that his blood seemed to remain the same, yet there were chaotic energies emitting from it, and his body seemed stronger than before.
He had just thought it was because he had broken through to a Transcendental Being, but it seemed he had also acquired the True Chaotic Body from the system's Main Shop.
"How? You can just give it to me like that?" Dave asked Aby, his curiosity rising to another level.
Aby laughed and replied, "To tell you the truth, sin points were just a way for the system to steer you toward the path of evil, to become a sinner, to sow chaos everywhere. After I manifested, sin points became useless because I can directly provide you with things in the system as long as you reach a certain level."
"The reason I'm able to give you these things is that your body and spirit are strong enough to receive them. You've surpassed my expectations because I thought it would take you longer to reach this level, but your luck is good."
Dave was surprised but understood easily, asking, "So you mean you are the system itself?"
Aby shook her head and replied, "Nope, I am just trusted to be the administrator of the system. The system is very mysterious, even I cannot fully understand it. It surpasses my power, and it is limitless. Right now, the system is updating again, so you should expect new functions and features, but it will take a long time for the update to finish."
Dave nodded and remained silent for a while before asking a serious question.
"I've been curious for a while but couldn't find the perfect time to ask. I thought before that I was the reincarnation of the Demon God, given I had primordial sins and had you, an ancient demon, as my assistant. But after being with you, I learned some things just from observation."
He paused, locking eyes with Aby.
"You are friends with the Goddess of Life, Yggdrasil, and I learned that she only had two friends in her life: the Demon God and the Goddess of Death. So, are you the Demon God? You also call yourself Aby, and if I'm not wrong, your true name is Abyss?"
