Chapter 22: Almost Invincible skill!
The drawing of the child quickly detached from the wall as it quickly swelled up and gained a physical body... Soon, after 5 full seconds, the creature finally stabilizes its body as it lands on its four feet.
It is quite ugly, well what could I expect from a child?
Leo complained deep within as he looked at the cartoonish white figure of a seeming cat, licking its 6 fingered paws.
Focusing slightly, Leo stared at the information that appeared on top of the cartoonish cat in astonishment.
[ Semi Living Cat - Level 15! ]
What the...
What in the avocado is this?
Although, It is quite ugly, the skill that the child uses is really shocking. In just a couple of minutes, he already created a level 15 being.
A level 15 being!
How shocking is that!
Since its information told him that it was a level 15 creature then its combat ability should be at level 15 at most!
If Leo has this skill then doesn't that mean he could earn exp by vandalizing around?
Wait... Not good!
As he was staring at the child in amazement. The child after retrieving his pointed hand from the wall suddenly panted heavily before falling towards the ground.
With a pale face, the child quickly took out water from his little backpack before drinking thirstily.
Moew?
After quenching his thirst, the child took out a biscuit from his backpack before unhurriedly eating it.
Seeing that the child was fine, Leo couldn't help but sigh in relief as his worry disappeared a little.
...
After resting for a while the child's pale face recovered a little as he unhurriedly stood up and dusted his blue robe.
After dusting his clothes the child petted the cartoonish white cat beside him.
"Let's go." The child mumbled in a weak voice as he began to move forward where the zombies went.
Leo, seeing them move forward, silently began to tail them from behind.
"Did he survive on his own? However, with his skill, it should be possible." Leo began to ponder as he silently followed the child. If what he thought was the truth, then Leo couldn't fathom how hard it was for a kid to survive alone.
If not for him being a ghost and instead having his own physical body, Leo would not know how would he survived for a week in this place!
Heck, even being a ghost and having the perks of having a system Leo still struggles to survive then what about the child?
At the same time as he was pondering, countless thoughts and understanding suddenly appeared inside his head.
It is like how the question didn't appear in the past but suddenly entered his head when he least expected it.
It's also like how he was about to fall asleep in the night yet thoughts mysteriously appeared on his mind preventing him from sleeping.
Does the child also have a system and it is not unique to me?
No, it is not right, if the child has the same system as me... then why not draw and let his drawing fight for him? He would gain "drawing points" by doing that, similarly to how I gain horror points by scaring beings.
Indeed, my system is probably unique...
Or... Sigh, I don't know what to think anymore... Never mind, if my system is unique or not I don't care at all!
The current thing I care about the most is to meet more humans and to gain a physical body!
...
After walking cautiously for half an hour, Leo due to having a high altitude, instantly saw the zombies in the distance.
Surprisingly, the number of zombies seems to have increased drastically from before. If he assumed the number, he could easily guess that the number increased by a hundred!
More than a hundred than before!
No wonder, no wonder I didn't meet the child before.
Leo silently thought. If he guessed correctly then the child was from the other horde, he only met the child due to the zombies creating one new big group.
Although it rarely happened, Leo already experienced this thing a couple of times when following the hordes in the past.
Soon, another minute passed by. The child meters away from him finally saw the back of the hordes. The nearest zombie in the horde was only ten-fifteen meters away from him.
Upon seeing the zombie, the child and the cat immediately hid behind the trash can nearby. Slightly poking his head, the child did a headcount toward the zombie in his line of sight.
1, 2, 3...
4, 8?
"Kitty there are 8 zombies around... All of them are lower than our number (Lower than their Level)."
Meow? The cartoonish cat meowed to the child as it tilted its head slightly.
As if understanding what the cat meant, the child nodded slightly and pointed toward the zombies in the distance.
"Kitty, attack them but if you feel slight danger run, ok?" The child whispered to the ear of the cat weakly as he petted its head.
Meow?
As if understanding what the child meant, the cat stretched its body slightly before suddenly vanishing beside the child.
Thud!
Only a second passed by when the cartoonish cat vanished when a loud thud suddenly sounded in the front.
Surprised and amazed, Leo looked at the dead zombie in the distance in silence.
Due to the things happening in an instant, Leo only saw a fast blur appearing beside the Level 4 zombie before it suddenly collapsed toward the ground.
As he was pondering deep within him, another thud sound entered his senses again followed by another collapsing zombie.
'This is too fast! If not for the drawback of his skill I'm afraid that the child would become invincible.'
Soon, after whole minutes of watching in amazement, all of the zombies near the child already died in the hands of a cartoonish cat.
Meow~~
With a proud meowing, the cartoonish cat instantly appeared beside the child.
"Kitty you're the best!" The child giggled cutely as he petted the cat's head before continuing to move forward.
